News Release

To our community and dedicated patrons,

Again, we would like to thank you for the support you've given ETC during it's fledgling season!  We're overwhelmed with gratitude and we are excited to continue working with you all to create something wonderful for the Spokane area.

Unfortunately we must announce that our Christmas production, previously scheduled for December 17th - 20th, 2014, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.  It is in the best interest of our company and our partners at The Lincoln Center that we table this project for another time.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause during your holiday season.

We are please to say, however, that due to the success of this seasons productions, we are still able to make a charitable contribution to NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, as we had planned to do this holiday season!

ETC will be returning to the stage this coming summer!  We are certain that with the community's continued cooperation the New Year will hold wonderful things for ETC.  We have an exciting new season planned for the summer including an original production penned by one of ETC's own playwrites!  For more information and updates, you can visit our website at www.etcspokane.com or like us on Facebook by visiting www.facebook.com/ETCSpokane!

Thank you and have a very happy holiday season,

Empire Theatre Company, LLC.

Audience Reviews!

"What a fun evening!  Lets Murder Marsha was a riot.  The dinner was good.  Scotte and I both had the chicken parmesan and it was very well prepared.  But the best part of the evening was the talented cast who brought this comedy to life on stage for a warm and receptive audience.  Please support this brand new theater.  You'll have a wonderful time!"

"What a fun time.  My table companions were great and so was the food.  Oh yes, the show was a lot of fun.  Nice way to spend a summer's evening.  I highly recommend it!"

"Super enjoyable evening at the opening of Let's Murder Marsha.  The catering at The Lincoln Center was excellent and the food was tasty and delicious!  Tried the custom created cocktail "Murder" and went back for a another.  Undoubtedly, the highlight of the evening was watching the skilled cast of Empire Theatre Company bring to life this hilarious play.  I laughed out loud throughout.  The enthusiasm and energy which the company brought to this performance was infectious and they, and the audience, clearly had a fun evening.  Dinner and a show this good, at this price!  What are you waiting for?  Go out and get your tickets!"

" Let's Murder Marsha put on by the Empire Theatre Company, was a wonderful show with a terrific price point (this could hardly be beat).  After being welcomed by The Lincoln Center's staff and seated immediately, my salad was outstanding with excellent presentation, immediately followed by first-rate Chicken Parmesan.  The couple we sat with was very interesting and wonderful company.  We even had the opportunity to win dessert, a nice teaser before the show began.  A full bar with specialty drinks was perfection and nobody lingering at the bar was wonderful to see.  After the show began i was unsure of what to expect as I'm not a regular "theater go-er" but was pleased with the humor as that is big on my list. The actors worked well together and definitely kept me on the edge of my seat.  If this was bacon it would be crispy without being brittle, hickory smoked, with good amount of meat, just as bacon should be."
